Pan Plus Cytokeratin is an excellent alternative to Pan Cytokeratin clone KL-1. This cocktail allows the detection of acid cytokeratins 10, 15, 16 and 19 (Type I) using the AE1 clone, of all basic cytokeratins (Type II), ie CK1 to CK8 using the AE3 clone, and of cytokeratins 8 and 18 using the 5D3 clone.
This antibody cocktail can detect a broad spectrum of cytokeratins and label epithelial cells in healthy and pathological tissue. This is mainly useful for the detection of metastases of unknown origin.
