Primary Antibodies
Diagomics offers a broad range of primary antibodies for in vitro oncology diagnostic and about 10,000 antibodies for cell biology research.
Most of the diagnostic antibodies are IVD/CE certified and are validated in immunohistochemistry for formalin-fixed, paraffin- embedded tissue sections. Protocols for laboratory automates are available.
Stability of Antibodies
The stability of antibodies (Ab) diluted in buffers depends on a variety of factors.
The antibody diluent should :
• Minimise adhesion of the Ab to the wall of the tube
• Prevent proteolytic degradation of the Ab
• Increase microbial and chemical stability of the Ab preparation
• Ensure good spreading of the Ab solution on the tissue section
• For some tricky Ab, improve the IHC staining intensity
• Tackle the non specific binding of primary Ab on the tissue
• Inhibit growth of micro-organisms
